25 lusk Seattle
An experimentation of spatial studies.
Project Brief: Design a new Seattle location based on "25 Lusk" out of San Francisco.
Spatial studies
Beginning the project, six spacial studies were developed focusing on curvilinear and rectilinear form within a space.
Construction
The space was created in a MDF box, 24” X 16” X 12”. One week was given to complete the model. It was made out of paper, a variety of woods, dark gray vinyl to simulate concrete floors, acrylic, tissue paper, LEDs and roughly two bottles of 2P10.
Final spacial concept model
Twenty Five Lusk has a professional yet warm and welcoming atmosphere. This redesigned Seattle location features an organic illuminated wall inspired by the Puget Sound and Ballard Shipyards. It creates a womb-like ambiance as it towers over you and welcomes with its soft light. This location features a dinning area as well as a waiting nook and upstairs bar.
